Springtime is coming, so what to do?

Hello, everyone! This is C, Marshall's wife. I saw him having lots of fun on his blog, so I wanted to write an article too. Here it is; I hope you like it.

As the days start to get longer and the sun starts to peek out more often, it's a sure sign that spring is just around the corner. After a long winter, there is a sense of anticipation in the air as we look forward to warmer weather and all that comes with it. To make sure I'm ready for the transition from winter to spring, I make sure to do five things every year.

First, I clean up my yard and get rid of any debris that has accumulated over the winter. This includes raking up leaves, trimming any overgrown branches, and clearing away any sticks or stones that have made their way onto my lawn.

Second, I make sure to stock up on sunscreen and other items I'll need for spending time outdoors. I also take the time to check my outdoor furniture to make sure it's in good condition and ready for use.

Third, I check my windows and doors to make sure they are properly sealed and insulated. This helps keep the cold air out and the warm air in, making our home more comfortable.

Fourth, I make sure to have Marshall check our air conditioning system and have it serviced if necessary. This ensures it will be ready to go when the warmer weather arrives.

Finally, I take the time to spruce up my outdoor space. This could mean planting flowers, adding a few pieces of outdoor furniture, or just doing some general landscaping, which I love to do.

These five steps help me to get ready for spring and guarantee that I'm prepared for the warmer months ahead.
