Putting Away the Kids' Winter Clothes and Getting Out Their Spring Clothes: A Mom's Perspective
As I pack away the kids’ winter clothes and get out their spring attire, I can’t help but feel a little bit of sadness. I’ve been putting away their clothes since they were babies, and it’s always a bittersweet moment. On the one hand, it’s a sign that they’re growing up and that spring is on the way. On the other hand, it’s a reminder that time is passing by and that they’re not babies anymore.
Before I put away the winter clothes, I like to take a few moments to look through them. It’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown and how their clothes have changed over the years. I also like to remember all the fun times we’ve had together during the winter months.
Putting away the kids’ things may be a chore, but it’s also a labor of love. I’m so thankful to be the one to do this. It’s a reminder of how much they’ve grown and how quickly time passes.
